Hi guys,

got another speaker question for you. Installed the front Speakers back into the dash of the yarii but they seem to vibrate a little and sound a bit flat  , anyone had any solutions for this (dynamat, mdf....)

Cheers,

Timmy

First check they are securely screwed in i guess. If your sure they're as firmly attached as they can be look at what else could be causing this. I guess what there attached to may be loose. Therefore try securing this aswell. Im pretty sute dynamat is designed to use against metal surfaces to strengthen them to stop them rattling but in the dash location i guess its plastic thats the problem so a different type of sound proofing would be needed (as far as i understand). Your dash Speakers are never going to give as good a sound as doors as there is no closed space behind them in the same way which gives the Speakers the depth and punch. However they shouldn't sound too bad so i would try what i said above.

Hope that was of some help

What kind of Speakers do you have installed , i would try an mdf mount , that can secure them in better + provide a better SQ
