Mr2 Tubby Vs Cossie

Here's one for you. My mate is buying at an escort cossie (1996), standard as far as i know, how do you think it will fair against my rev 2 tubby (running 1 bar boost with a few mods)

Just take bith cars as standard, which is quicker actually on the road?.

Dunno bout the Escort cossie.. but I beat 2 Sierra Cossies on the Strip running 1 bar of boost in my old Rev 3.

This could be down to the drivers etc but i believe that in standard form the Rev 3 would beat a standard cossie in a straight line.

I'd have thought that the escort would be about the same performance as a GT4 .. and we've had loads of those threads :)

I've seen a totally modded one and it wasn't running high bhp. Only about 240ish. Probably about the same as your motor mate, but his has 4wd. (probably?)

Mates got a modded one, and mine's quicker.

His is lightening off the start though with 4 wheel traction.

Mine's Rev3 though, and not standard.
