NO Do not let the Mrs drive the car, you'll regret it if she damages it I don't let my other half anywhere near my car even to wash it And vis versa. Well who'd wanna be seen driving a Pulsar anyway!

Good choice of car there, do try and only use Optimax in your tank as the imports like it very much! I definately noticed the difference when I started to only use it

lol well guys i must admit, it is actually her car. she bought it, owns it etc im just a named driver on her policy lol I know its bad, but what ya gunna do hey.. thats the trouble with not having any NCB, resorting to this.

On a day to day basis to work and back i drive a rover 220. cheap to run and insure plus im building up the NCB to get my starlet gt turbo at the end of the year.

plans really are just to keep it as it is really, just get some better alloys on.

its got 77k on the clock.. i think it has been convereted because on the speedo thers a peice of black tape over the K so it just reads m/ph i think.

we've put a system in already, just a JVC mp3 head unit along with a 1000watt 4 channel jbl amp running a 15" 1000 watt jbl sub.

You'll get club stickers if you become a paid up member of TOC aswell as some other benefits - should save you money in the long run just from dealership discounts! Not that you'll have to spend much on parts - hopefully - as they're pretty tough cookies!

Don't think there are any insurance company discounts There are some recent threads that mention insurance and the best places. For an SS2 I was paying @750 and have just got a new quote for £400 - so definately pays to shop around, especially with the imports

yeah, our insurance is £700 TPFT, thats my gf 22years old with 3 years NCB. she cant wait for the renewal to come through lol r well 9months and 8days left to go on the policy lol.

is there anything that we should look our for, any manufacture defaults and stuff, I know when I had my mazda there was a default with the windows, the seal didnt sit right and got awfully windy at 70mph + (on a private road)

Hi DAnG Welcome m8, i got simota induction kit and straight through kakimoto exhaust with manifold and decat, i reakon it added 15-20 just feels alot smoother and pulls alot better. look forward to pics :)

What are peoples views on a trd panel filter? and do ppl know were i could get one and how much they go for. I paid £80 for a K&N penel filter for my mazda.. will it be dearer?

im building up the NCB to get my starlet gt turbo at the end of the year.

I love the look of GT Turbo's, never been in one but they look like a lot of fun :D

I No a guy who got the special TRD lightweight Glanza V, they are very quick little cars hes running on tien coilovers like a go kart, very fast in 1st and 2nd, 4th and 5th a bit disapointing as there only a 1.3.

I saw a vid a while back of a guy in his starlet on a strip beat a scooby.. ever since then ive wanted one.

my mates got a stage 1 scooby, 310bhp which is nice but i want somethin abit different n something that i can beat him off the line in hhaha :D
