Silver Aygo

hey me again :-)

when i got me aygo 6 months ago there were only 3 colours available, red, blue and carbon quartz which is the one i had, well now all i keep seeing is silver aygo's!

i probably would av had the silver one n all lol

has anyone else noticed that?

Hi Sarah. Yes the Aygo orignally came out in Chilli Red, Ice Blue, Carbon Quartz (my favourite) and then Crystal Silver came out a short while ago.

we had the 4 colour option from the begining here not many silver around tough cos i have never seen one yet! a lot of light blue and quartz grey and a few of the best colour (red) ;) joking. i would like to see a real aygo in silver how it looks!

the silver is dead smart even though i do love my carbon quartz!

then again nearly all cars on the road r silver aint they so at least carbon quartz is rare.

Peugeot have stopped selling Carbon Quartz and Apollo blue since 1st Apr 06. They were the two classiest colours in the Peugeot options imho. Except Zircon grey (Silver) of course!!

I love the shine of the carbon quartz in the sunlight as it is made up of a lot of greens and dark greys so it gives a nice shine almost glittery.

Actually Carlo Blue is the best colour.... you can't get that on an Aygo.... :P

Honestly people! Each to their own on the colour stakes.... no ones is better than anyone elses!

Many other car manufacturers (whom will remain nameless) have an over capacity of manufacturing for certain key models. So they build a lot of cars in silver with the most requested specification, because most new car buyers will have silver as their second choice of colour and will take their second choice in order to aviod a delay in delivery of their new car. If the cars then don't shift, they offer them up with tempting price reduction deals.

However, Toyota don't operate this principle, as they opearte a Just in Time principle for manufacture, to keep excess stock levels down. But looks like they have added silver as a option, as they see that there is demand for this colour.

Still prefer Ice Blue though, shame there wasn't a darker blue on offer what I bought mine.

well at first i wanted carbon quartz but then i heard this was the new colour so I just went for it. The more important thing is how amazing these cars are to drive, fuel econ, tax everything, love it. How long you had yours for? Had mine 3 weeks and already clocked up 1500 miles!

Yes................... the Aygo in Carlo Blue would look stunning...............it does with the Yaris ;)
