Hi Peugeot 107?

I'm not used to talking to cars though my Prius Classic talks to me quite happily!

It's really a query for other Classic owners. Has anyone else NOT received a letter inviting them to have their Battery seen to? I haven't had mine a year yet so I am not known at any Toyoto garage, though the car certainly is as it's done 90,000 troublefree miles since 2001. Toyoto do know about me as I contacted them a while back as soon as I heard of this "sort of recall", and they said then that they used DVLA lists for contacting owners so I should sit back and wait, not all cars were involved. This seems to contradict this article and others, I wonder perhaps I should talk direct to a dealer? is anyone else in my position?

Hi there,

I've not received a letter either and I've been in contact with my dealer during April as they are replacing the rear window seal under warranty. I'll talk to them on Saturday morning about this.

Hi, I also have not received a letter from my dealer. When I contacted them, they suggested that they would do the check at the next service. Question is if I took my Prius elsewhere for servicing, would it ever be checked?

Probably not, to be honest.

Worth popping into Mr T, if they find the fault on your vehicle and fix it you get champagne and a tank of fuel if the article is to be believed :thumbsup:
