smarts (gay)

 You wont be saying that when i spank it past you round the ring if you come next year :P  ;)

I've just got back from my test drive and im very impressed with the car  , just need to fit a boost controller and decat it - which also knocks 10kgs off the car which makes 740kgs! :D

plus I could REALLY confuse everyone by sayings its a 2.4 TT supra....

Now that would be awesome :D

Anything under 2.0 AND under 7k rpm I just don't *get* .. just like 3 cylinder engines ..

Bahhh, 'power to weight'. ;)

If the car only weighs about as much as a tin of spam then you dont need to strap a great big lump to it. ;)

Dude, listen to Charis, get an AW-11 'charger instead... or an Elise, a Caterham... ANYTHING else

Ben, Don't encourage him I don't want to see a Naked Lee driving about in a smart car to save weight!!!

AW11's - Too heavy, still over a ton stripped. :o

Elise - S1's look "special" (in a "needs" way), S2's are too soft :o .

Caterham - Cigar tube with 4 wheels

 Too heavy... Mmm. You drive one at speed and tell me you'd still want it considerably lighter. I know I wouldn't. ;)

Done the AW11 thing (ok ok i know mine was a dudd but i still dont really want to go back).

Elise is ok IF i got a Toyota 190 engined one, the Rover K Series engines are pap.

Caterham, just dont like em. They give me a headache when i look at them.

I challenge anyone who says the smart roadster is gay to go and drive one. If you come back and say they are crap then you are lying

The argument of looks against an Elise when the competition is a %$(ing smart car is weak ben!! I thought the S1 exige looked pretty cool :D Especially in gun metal!

Failing that, you know my plans for the rotory engined fixed head eunos... You also know I'll never actually do it (like my purple people eater plan). I think thay'd make a cool track car!!!

Your AW11 was pony.

The 190's are soft, but hell, next to a Smart it'll be like a brick.

Caterham, it's a mans car, it's everything you *need*.

Exige are still pricey .. and the S1 is not as reliable as you'd hope. Even being a Lotus ;)

Nope, but the sailors blew him kisses.

You should have seen the guy that came up to look at it!!!

He minced over the drive from his ST202 celica, and decided against it...

Rumour has it he wants a smart car for their ability to fit into small places :!Removed!:

I was going to say ae-86.... but it seemed too obvious and sensible....

I see them all the time round my way dude because of McLaren is not far from me. I am a bit bored of them and dont like them that much.

Have you looked into servicing on them? Dont they have to run on optimax? You cant just put 95 ron in or something?

Standard oil and filter every 9k. Cam belt every 60k. Nothing special. 97ron only as they are pretty high compression. Thats how they manage 70mpg
