lee-im lost for words, u know if you were to buy a smart, your car history will have a blemish(sp). im sure it is fun but it has the micra cc effect

couldnt u get an elan, 160hp turbo?

couldnt u get a tvr s2, 2.9 v6 or 4.0 v8?

couldnt u get an mx5 and supercharge it?

couldnt u get suzuki cappuccino and supercharge it (plus its clever roof and less !Removed!, even tho a tad bent)?

v8 is my choice from the list

Posted

Wow... Saying a suzuki cappuccino is "less !Removed!" then another car really is a very powerful statement :lol:

It's like saying Graham Norton is 'less !Removed!' than Julian Clary....

saw this again at RS3.... the v8 looks tiny in the supra engine bay!

awaiting the blowers still but the lump is in AND works

I don't actually know if I concur with this view of available power but here is my sixpence worth.

Power = the amount of fuel converted to energy is the shortest time. This is why Short stroke V-type are great for that and they should be better balanced than a straight although a flat is just as good (berniletta boxer, 911 etc)

Torque = turning force. A long lever can give more torque than a short one with the same applied force (as it is force x distance and measured in Newton metres) Therefore the long stroke engines tend to be more torquey as the classic long stroke British straight sixes are (TR6, Austin Healey 3 litre, GT6)

A good combination would be to get a long stroke V-type config (too heavy and takes up more space) or get a long stroke straight six to burn more fuel in a quicker time (supra turbo) geddit?!!

As always

Regards

Michael
