Please Help Over Heating St205

hello ther i have a st205 celica gt4 on a l plate it is a jap import and only recently the ecu light has came on and doesnt go off and also wen in traffic for 5 mins of so the temp rises right up to the red i have had a new radiator fitted as the old 1 broke so it is not that please can any 1 help

before anyone says it, it is extremely unlikely to be the head gasket :P

possilbly when the rad was replaced the system wasn't bled properly, or cheaper coolant was used to top it up with forlife still in the system, sticky thermostat, fan not working.

my money's on the fan not being re-connected tho

Fan not cutting in, was it reconnected when the rad was replaced.
