the MOT makes me laugh to be honest... you could go in with a perfect car and pass with flying colours

then roll out onto the street, spin up the tyres and put them on the limiters, back the exhaust into a kerb and stab a shock absorber with a screwdriver... yet your cars has quite happily got 12 months of road legal worthiness!

i do think a 12 month effort is too long, you should have a 6 month check aswell
