Before doing professional installs, I was a touring sound engineer - mainly big live stuff. My main source of work meant most years we would work virtually every single major festival in the UK.

Most of us hated the dance festivals (Creamfields, Homelands, Gatecrasher etc...) as even though it was one night with a couple of DJ's and one or two live acts it was for more stressfull and harder work than doing 13 or 14 live bands on Reading Main stage in a single day.

The worst thing is the thump-thump-thump-thump that continues to go on inside your head for two weeks after :ffs: I'd rather have two months of tinitus than that

Give me 30 six piece rock bands fully mic'd up any day over a single DJ

Full respect to live dance acts like Roni Size (Represent), Faithless, and Prodigy (all of whom I've worked or toured with) they do rock. Just can't grasp the concept of someone making a living of spinning vinyl

Not knocking anyones taste in music - It's just not my cup of tea

same as jj said the goodgreef crowd are amazing been wanting to see adam sheridan for ages now but never seem to catch it right,

but also tidy arena looks good (amber D )apart from the tidy boys themselves cos they aint that great on a live set.

i could go on for ages on this subject but i won't

I'd deffo be up for that! Wanted to go before but didn't in the end. Does anyone remember the TOC RG corner at JAE last year? Glow sticks & trance galore!!

The Prodigy are fantastic live, but PvD sucked when I saw him at Ministry of Sound - Knebworth festival. Such a disappointment because I loved his stuff at the time. Not only was he late for the set, it was nothing like what I'd heard of his so was very disappointed. Would be prepared to give him another go though. :D

I shall speak to Leeky and see if he's interested ;)
