Thats just sheer lazyness Nick!

I've never seen a central exit exhaust on a Yaris but it'd be a fairly big job I reckon coz the mounts, etc would have to be custom made and welded to the car to hold it. Have a look at the Envy sports cat and mid section. I think thats approx £350 with a little bit more to get it fitted. Heard many a good thing about this system and team it up with a cheap after market back box and your laughing!

They only fit T-Sports though!

CV Joint.. Take the wheel off and you will see a rubber gator, remove the clips on the edge nearest the hub(use a set of snips) put in some grease and then thoroughly degrease the bit where the rubber gator sits then pull the gator back on and secure it with a cable tie.. jobs a goodun.

You should use special grease for CV joints..................not the normal general purpose grease

Why would you ever need to grease the CV joint ? Unless the boot is ruptured and then you would require a replacement which is fiddly and messy.

Not sure about Yaris but some split from the wheel and others from gear box.

With a centre exhaust on the Yaris bare in mind, the wiper is not centrally mounted so it may look odd on the context of the car.

I never actually thought of that , it might look totally off then . Will need to look into it more !! David

Powerflo or similar will do a bespoke system with a mid exit - its all down to what you want to pay.

Envy use a local place in newcastle - they fabricated my yaris mid section, the missus's mr2 twin 4" exit system and my pajero custom backbox - all excellent quality and absolutely no hassles.

At the end of the day - you get what you pay for...
