hi there

i have a 1990 celica st182 and for the last day or so i have been getting a strange feeling from the steering wheel the only way i can describe it is that the N/S front wheel feels as so it wants to detach it's self from the car and the car seems to wonder kind of tram lining . i have had the car jacked up and checked both sides for any play in the componants and can't see or feel anything strange also i have checked the tyre pressures and wheel nut tightness today and had 4 wheel alignment done a few months ago.

it's getting me slightly worried

is there anything else that i could of over looked or i could check

many thanks rick

If the wheels arent wobbling at all and your tyre pressures are fine, maybe suspension related?

once got a stone trapped in a suspension spring and that messed with the cars handling.... was a big stone mind .... and it was also very hard to see as it was tucked away behind things.

gl finding and sorting the prob :)

i had aproblem with my steering [only when wet] so i had my belts changed, not done it since[fingers crossed] while they were being done they found an oil leak or power steering pump leak, which was near the belts so that might of caused it.having it sorted after me holiday :(
