I'm trying to install new Speakers in my 99 Camry but I don't know how to get to them, rear inparticular, but I think front might be a little difficult too. Has anyone ever done this?

Thanks

Yeah, I' about to do the same thing. Anyone know what size the Speakers in the back are, the look like 6x8 or 9 to me.

I still haven't got my Speakers in yet, but I know the rear are 6x9, the front, i'm not sure, but I think are either 6 1/2 or oversized 6 1/2 (6 3/4).

The front and rear Speakers need custom speaker plates. I installed 6 1/2 componets and 6x9's a year ago. Toyota is notorious on its Speakers. Toyota Speakers have 3 extentions on it where the screws go. Unlike aftermaket speakers where you can screw down the speaker next the the rubber surround. What I have done was make a template of the factory front and rear speakers. Go to the hardware store and buy a 1/4 inch fiber board and cut it out to the shape of the factory speakers and use the template of the aftermarket speaker for the cut out of the fitting. Also the front door speakers terminals will rust quickly, so I suggest using silicone to cover the terminals.
