Hi guys, I have a 98 beams celica ss-iii, thing is i think the brakes are a bit tired, there fine when cold, but after a short drive they soon fade and can no longer lock up the wheels, what could cause this?, i'm going to change the fluid anyway, but wondering if anyone knows where I might find some braided hoses for it, i dont think the normal celica gt hoses would fit because of the superstrut suspension.

Cheers!

Have a quick search, there was another question about this, this week.

Change the fluid and check your pads/disks.

And good luck on the hoses, seemed to be a hard thing to find.

:blushing: oops really should have looked harder... thanks though that other thread helps! .

Aside from that anyone got recomendations about brake fluid, i'd also like to do the odd track day at some point, is it worth going for different fluid.

5.1 .. and swap it after every trackday.

I'm just using Halfords stuff, I don't think it's all that different from any other brand.
