Got Road Rage? Try Feng Shui!

Car owners can avoid road rageby parking their "tiger-like" vehicles according to the rules of feng shui.

Motorists who abide by the ancient Chinese practice will become calmer drivers and stay more alert, according to new research.

Tricks include parking the car with its nose facing away from your house to help the "energy flow" between you.

According to the report, cars are "predatory tigers" that will threaten the occupants of the house if it's parked facing the building.

Drivers should also sprinkle sea salt crystals inside their vehicles and tie a blue ribbon around the rear view mirror.

Singing, clapping or playing music will also "get rid of negative energy inside the car" says the study, commissioned by Aon Private Clients insurance services firm.

Removing clutter should be removed as it "sucks the life force out of the driver".

And motorists should keep the windows clean to allow chi energy to enter from outside.

The claims are based on the feng shui of four cars - a Nissan Micra, a Volkswagen Passat, a Porsche Boxster and a Lexus 4x4.

Ian Cullen, a director of Aon Private Clients, said: "Feng shui is about the way in which our environment affects our behaviour and our mood - be it a building or a car.

"With road rage on the increase and our cities and motorways becoming ever more congested, maintaining a balanced state of mind becomes all the more difficult."

So there you go.... want calm driving - reverse into your drive!

i dont care what Feng Shui says - the front seats need to face towards the front of the car, not the middle!

its just bad practice! ;)

So I should be calm all the time then.....

The car is parked facing a large green with a few trees on it.

My car is clean both inside and out and I get extremly annoyed if anybody touchs the windows from the inside :censor:

So just a minute.

An Insurance company commisioned a study which suggests that whilst driving your spotless predatory tiger like Nissan Micra, clapping, singing and playing loud music will help to "get rid of the negative energy inside the car"!

Just torch it

sO ''According to the report, cars are "predatory tigers" that will threaten the occupants of the house if it's parked facing the building"...

I disagree.. surely being able to look out of the window of your house and see the mean front end of your car would cheer you up!

I'm not a spiritual type and definately not religous but do believe in Feng Shui if done properly and not by some half cocked muppet who has studied from books...

As part of my fathers role when we lived in Hong Kong for company image he was required to have a Feng Shui specialist to come to the house, this specialist knew after reading the house about health problems I had as a child which noone in Hong kong ever knew about and a number of other factors which could not have been known by anyone...

Scary was one way of putting it but interesting at the same time...
