Any Aftermarket Oxygen Sensors For My '2?

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I've been told a faulty oxygen sensor is causing my '94 turbo's misfiring and reduced bhp but the universal one my garage tried to use wouldn't fit as it didn't have a bolt plate or something.

Then they told me the only one they could source that would fit is the toyota part which costs £200+

Is there any other option or am i really gonna have to swallow my outrage and Shell out for it?

hmm you can buy the flange for the universal 02 sensor

or you can buy a universal 4 wire sensor with a flange from me for £35 posted... It was used on my car for 1 hour while I did some comparison tests....Perfect condition

It's tempting mate, is there only one of these sensors used in the car? I've had an appalling run of luck lately so i don't want to say yes and then find out it's the wrong one.

How did it compare to the existing one btw?

go to any local car parts shop and say you want the adaptor for japanese vehicles, cost you 2 or 3 quid! i did it on my mr2 and mpg got a bit better.

Just had the oxygen sensor replaced on mine, caused it to fail MOT due to emissions. Was charged £95 by the garage, they said it's a very fiddly job. Sensor itself is only about £30.
