Yellow Oil Light Lucidia Estima

HI ALL HOPE YOU CAN HELP !!

I have a Lucida estima new shape on a 97 P reg 2.2 TD...auto

I have recently had some problems with firstly the yellow gear box oil light comes on now and again and then goes off (always only flashing) somtimes I can loose power slightly and gear change does not always kick in.....

it was serviced fully recently (gear box and engine oil filters ect)

I have looked in to maybe getting another gear box but have been advised to look at the ecu unit .....

somtimes it works fine with no problems for days but then all of a sudden lack of power light comes on for a short time then goes off.

also my abs light now stays on and Ive had all the breaks done recent and it breaks perfict

please can someone advise ... also how much will an ECU be and where would I look to find one ??

hi leighb

first check with the engine hot.the auto box oil level.with foot on brake slowly move the gear lever through all gears at least three times then place in neatral and check the level if its slightly low your light will come on.not all garages do this.your abs light could be down to water on the connectors where you had them changed.ecu if req on eBay or try nip-parts.co.uk for all estima spares. hope this helps
