I've been on the net for hours trying to find a definate answer to what type of bulb the 2005 Corolla uses for the low beam. From what I've gathered its H7 but i want to be sure.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

check the manual... i think you should find the answer there.

Thanks for the reply but it's not my car and I don't have access to the manual.

All 4(LOW & HIGH) front bulbs are H7.

My advice:

LOW BEAM: OSRAM LIGHT@DAY (longer life)

HIGH BEAM: PHILIPS PREMIUM+30%

Thanks for the info. It's great to finally have a straight answer.

Thanks again!

sorry hadeone, i forgot to check it out.... :(

i was thinking, is it worth all the work involved to change the bulbs? cause i mean, mine look quite bright enough and the process of removing the bulbs seems a bit complicated and not so easy due to restricted working space.

No problem these other guys told me what I needed to know.

I will be changing out the bulbs for a 5300k HID kit. Thats why I needed to know the bulb type. It will be a plug and play kit into the stock housings.

  • 2 weeks later...

Could You give us a follow up on the change? Am also considering a HID system but don't know if it's worth the money.Does it disturb the others? The beam is good shaped (just because the lamp was not planned for that use)? I also have a d4d
