Hello all,

Well i have a bit of a database to implement and can't decide the best way to do it,

I have already done all the stuff for personal details.

Need to store:

Qualifications - For a Nurse some need to be renewed every year, every 3 years or run indefinately.

BUT it needs to store the qualification and date of expiry for each one AND create an alert when some are nearing expiry if possible.

Try using Excel instead. It's easier!

You could do everything else, but the alerts may cause a prob. Have just done a course in access at work so will have a look and see what i can help you with.

Can PM me a list of all the headings that you need and i will try and assemble one for you.

Are you/do you want to use relationships or just have it all on the one page?

Plus what about security ie different levels - Do you want anybody to be able to find just a persons name and see if they are still qualified or do you want anybody to have the full details at a click of the button?

With the alerts it will be something to do with the macro's ....... I'll have a browse and see what I can find
