Hey people I'm Daniel from Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal.. currently 23 years old and still waiting for my aygo! I'm used to ride some litle fast cars and the aygo will be my 4th vehicle!! My first car was a Citroën AX GT2, Second a Ford Fiesta BOSS Turbo, and current car an Opel Corsa TD (Isuzu Engine) .. now I bought my Aygo and I'm anxious for it to come! Damn!!

I've owned my Aygo sonce 01/03/06 and she's my fifth and favourite car (previous cars are MK2 Nova, MK5 Fiesta, LPG Astra and my Fiances Corsa)

This is the result:

(straight&level, no wind and 10 deg C)

After the pic was taken, I drove the thing straight into the petrol station.

As humans, it gets thirsty when running fast! :(

An Aygo doing 170 :o .....and then I saw your location was the Netherlands and realised it was KPH.

Still a nice shot though and a good speed for an Aygo

What do you mean by testing with a bigger car at my side? What I do have in mind is doing a calibration of the speedometer and see how fast it really goes.

By the way, I had the needle off the scale with a tailwind of approximately 25 kt and I still felt safe in my little go-kart.

i tried the 0-60 sprint tonight and i got one at 11. 5secs with the wheels spinning in 1st gear and jumping ! the second try i tried not to take off as hard but then i did 12.3 secs! so you really need to take off hard to do a good time!

i tried the bigger car thing with my girlfriend as she like to race me with her hyundai coupe 2ltr and they level out good on flat ground (and i can tell you she dont like it that i beat her so she try really hard! she even lost it on a corner trying to keep up with me ;) )and when we are on twisty roads i say goodbye to her ! i know her car is very heavy but its still a 2ltr with 140bhp so thats not bad
