Wheel Care Question

Is there a product or method for removing the tiny black spots that have appeared on my front wheels - im guessing its fused brake dust - so is there something i can get to clean it off and crutially something that wont damage the powder coat on the enkei?

I use Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner

I find it's pretty good, but I don't use it very often as my wheels don't get that dirty.

I have the same thing happening on my rims mate (although I've taken them off now). I reckon it's wee tiny bits of tar. A clay bar is probably the best thing to remove them with in all honesty although I haven't tried it so don't blame me if it mashes up your rims! :P

well im saying its brake dust cos the rear wheels (with the drums) are fine

tar spots.... get some TFR, thatll shift them in no time :)

I would say tar spots, use alloy wheel cleaner and most will remain on, get some tar spot removal spray and they will be as good as new.

Autoglym Super Resin Polish (what you use on your bodywork) will bring it right off

I want to touch up my alloys, can anyone reccomend paint for me to use? (there yaris t-sport wheels btw).
