my vvtl-i engine plans is put on ice for now BIG costs, but are considering a blacktop.....

this car projekt has been going on for about 3 years now, and i have no plans of stopping now ;)

Hi All,

Here are some pics of my G6R that I just bought with only 18,000 miles on the clock. This is going to be left completely original. alloys are the only bad bit as they have not aged well but these will get refurbished soon. The previous owner was a old gentleman who only used it once a couple of times a month as he didn't like the busy glasgow roads and kept it in the garage.

The amazing £800 Corolla :D A hardy fella, done 74000 miles and only been crashed once since I bought it! (By my sister, believe it or not who drive it into a hedge at ~20mph...) Survived with little more than a few scratches and a dent in the bonnet! The hedge also made a full recovery. :D

Thought it was about time i posted some pics of my 4E-FE Rolla, i have had it for about 2 months now and i have finnally got around to cleaning it properly.

As you can see the interior was messy....

So i removed almost all of it, cleaned it and have finally put it all back in.

Hi IOM G6R. I saw that car on eBay...is it genuinly 18000 miles? Wheels were quite bad condition for such a low mileage car...Toyota could have made them better :) Nice buy

Oh man!!! I remember my dad used to have a one of them...great cars rear wheel drive as well...He shipped one across to Pakistan (sometime in the late 80's/early 90's), and we did a road trip from the port in the south all the way up North (2 days non stop driving) ...through pot holes and broken bridges and floods, you name it...no problems whatsoever, never let us down once....wonder how many of these models are left!!!

You don't see many of them, that's for sure. They are really good cars, fun in the winter while being reliable. I'm although puzzled (and at times almost frustrated and saddened) over the fact that the salesmen at my dealer don't know what it is (and aren't really interested). Also, many Toyota "enthusiasts" don't realise that it's the Toyotas from this era that are the foundation for the Toyota reliability they praise so loudly. It's done 180k miles, never breaks down, the only grief it's given me is caused by myself..
