Hi all, just purchased an avensis vvti 2l sr on a 51 plate last week. Drove to Cardiff today, on the way back the mil came on and stayed on. This is the fist Toyota i've owned, dont know anything about them, is this a serious problem. Any feedback welcome. Thanks :huh:

Hello and welcome to TOC.

If you got your Avensis from a Toyota dealer then take it back and get it sorted by them.

If not it may just be advisable to get it checked out at your local Toyota dealer......................it could just be an indicator malfunction, but its best to be sure that you are not causing any more damage by driving with the light on.
