Buying Advice Needed On A 95 Rav4

Hi, my wife is looking a Rav4, I have found a really nice one, year is 1995, model is a 2ltr 3 door GX, the only thing that is worrying me is the mileage: 126k. I'm familier with Terranos and their 2.7TDi engines and know they are good for way past 126k but know nothing about th Rav4 unit.

Can anyone offer any advice? Things to look for? What typical mileage these engines are good for Etc.

The 3S-FE engine is bullet proof, and goes on for ages. In fact most of the Rav4 running gear is well up to it.

Check that the clutch has been replaced though, I believe it's a big job on these.

If it's the right money then it would probably be a good car if the engine etc seemed ok, such as no obvious signs of problems like correct colour water, oil etc.
