Hello all,

I cant seem to find DYNO results for the CTS....

Does any one know??!!

Motor Magazine said the corolla has only 87kw at the wheels.. (this is very very bad if its true)

I think they stuffed the test some how, cause the astra turbo was 100kw at the wheels with 147kw at the fly. So how did toyota loose 53kw in a FWD car??

Someone put me out of my missery...

Cheers

On my dyno run I've got 123kw / 168 hp at the wheels and 193hp at the engine

Hi 2zzge-s and everyone, i also read the motors magazine and was so disappointed :crybaby: , not only it was only 87kw at the wheels but they said there's a big dip in power and torque around 6000rpm which lead it to become 2nd last :ffs: when they compare the 4 cars, MIINI S COOPER, ASTRA TURBO, FORD ST FOCUS, they place the Corolla sportivo last??.

Iam so confuse and worry that the Aust Corolla sportivo is not the same or doesn't have the power as the other CTS overseas. Also i can't belive Toyota claim 8.4sec 0-100km and 16.1 1/4 mile, if that is true then other hatchs that are less power runs faster then our sportivo, My corolla sportivo haven't arrive yet dealer saids within 3weeks. :cacker:

I can't seem to understand how 87kw ATW could be right. This test would have had to be inaccurate by a heap. On this site people claim ridiculously high figures for dyno runs, and then motor mag claims 87kw ATW? Looks like i will have to wait another couple of weeks to find out for myself.

:ffs: i read the motor mag dyno figures and cant believe it. i got my sportivo last week so i havent used it to its full potential. if it has 87kw at the wheels where is all the rest going? ;)

What does the celica do ATW's? cause it has the same drive train... Was there dissapointing figures for the that too? I doubt it

If my CTS can hit 400 mtrs under 16.0 im happy.

Mine is 3 door, no leather (hate when it's hot B) )

I easily hit 15.2.

Official result measured with professional equipment on 0-400 Championship of Poland for stock CTS was ET 15.292, driven by a first timer girl. Good driver, though.

Today I was racing a Boxter for 20 km, across my town. The guy was furious... couldn't shake me off... Of curse was faster from the lights, but still, I didn't let him go away further than 20-30 meters.

Get a quickshift if you wanna be faster.
