CAN ANYONE HELP ME ABOUT THIS CUZ I BLEW MY 3SFE AND IM TRYIN TO SEARCH FOR A 3SGE BUT I CANT FIND A GOOD PRICE FOR ONE AND ALSO CAN I STILL USE MY OLD TRANNY WIT THE 3SGE MOTOR?

So, I have a 89 gt, with the same 3sfe. Can someone please tell me if I can put 3sg... forgot what it is called (the true Dual Cam one) in it instead. Do I have to change or modify the trans. Can I put the 5sfe in it. The turbo 3sf... whatever that letter is?

as the bottom end of the engine is the same (3S) then you should be able to swap engins foer the 3S-GE or 3S-GTE but you will need loom and ecu and possible gearbox(mr2 turbo for 3S-GTE) for the engine you are using as well as some ancilliaries
