I'm thinking of dabbling in the dark arts of turbo boost pressures, has anyone on here altered their turbo diesels. Or even tried a fuel chip or ECU re-map?

Right, I've looked at several options (propane injection sounds like fun) but I need some technical data first. My engine is a KZN-185 3.0td without an intercooler.

I need to know;

1. What is the quoted power output at the flywheel?

2. What size injectors does it have?

3. What type of injector pump does it use

4. Where is the boost pressure sensor

5. What are the existing boost pressures?

6. Does it have a fuel cut system in the event of a boost spike?

I hope someone out there knows their stuff! I want to make this one of the most powerful surfs around without replacing the engine for a V8 Now theres a thought ;)

That link was ideal, but my engine bay looks nothing like any of those. Still a good place to start though, thanks. :thumbsup:
