Hi folks

I've previously had a '94 rev2 mr2 gts import and enjoyed every minute of it realy. I'm looking for any advice you may be able to give as I'm starting to look for a st205 gt4 '95+. I'm not worried about uk or imports as its the same engine as my mr2 was so I'm not 100% green at the warning signs of duff mota's, however I find myself in a strange spot. I've looked at 3 cars now. a silver '94 that was really poor and the final nail in the coffin was the slow pull away with the little puff of blue smoke, priced at :o £4200 then I've seen a black '95 in nice condition but its been fully painted and I'm sure its been stuffed heavy in one side as the front of the car just does not line up, I mean by about 8mm on the front of one door, the pillar looked straight but its to far out to trust in my mind, that was priced at £4800 but ran well! Then i've looked at a black '95 that was okay, but hardly in a1 condition at £6k. What price should I expect to pay for a nice clean black GT4? that is if I can find one.

My tubby mr2 was in very good condition (apart from the usual car park nics) on an 'L' with original paint, and I paid £4k for that and wondering if I should have sold it?..... ah yea I need 4 seats so it had to go...

I'm not expecting a new car, but what i've seen is just depressing me.

my old mr2 can be found here if your interested in what sort of condition car I'm after/expect.

sorry for the rant but any help or advice would be great.

Cheers

Thanks :D

I guessed it was the case but just needed to get it off my chest as the woman is sick of me going on about it.

will 5k get a good one? or will I have to stretch a little further?

Pop over to gt4oc CLICKY and have a look in th efor sale section. There are some nice well cared for cars that crop up quite regularly.
