Gen 5? (popup lights)

Also what model is it? GT, GTR, ST, SR, GT4

Also I'm guessing it's a UK car and not a Jap car??

OK is it the stock immobiliser?? Has it also got an alarm linked in with it?

Does the alarm go off or is that all ok? Does your remote keyfob open the doors? What does the Led indicator do behind the gear stick when you get in?

This thread has some info on the alarm system:

http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.p...=50803&hl=alarm

You could try the trick which disables the security system - open the car with the key - alarm should sound for 30 seconds during this time turn the key to ACC, wait until alarm stops (30 seconds) then start the car.

Don't worry if the alarm doesn't sound but try the above anyway - it's got to be worth a shot.

OK, first of all stop pressing the quote and reply buttons!! Just use the Add Reply Button at the bottom!!

Try getting out of the car, locking the car with the key then starting again with the method above.

You still haven't told us exactly what you did to get it running. Did the alarm go off when you tried etc etc. Let us know the details so we can help you

Did you try doing exactly the same procedure again though, it should work over and over again, but it won't get rid of the problem it's just a workaround.

You still haven't given us all the details
