Since my 90,000 service a noise had appeared from the rear wheels, especially bad going around right-hand bends. When I arranged for a garage to check it out I was flabbergasted. New wheel bearings required.

New wheel bearings come as a sealed unit in the hub, and each hub was over £200. :crybaby:

I had no choice to replace them, but it seems gone are days when a failed wheel bearing meant a replacement wheel bearing!

Perhaps in the future a replacement light bulb will mean a replacement harness etc. :o
