Heater Control Removal

Anyone know how the 2 side heater controls (heat/cold and direction) and the fresh air/recirculate knob come off ? The fan speed one is easy but can't find anywhere that tells you how to get to the others.

I had looked at all the Aygo stuff in the accessory manuals but saw nothing. Don't expect it to be difficult as everything seems to be easy accessible but not sure how the dials were attached. We'll see when I get the car I suppose.

Once you get the radio compartment out (which is the whole centre console) you can see behind them. But why would you want to take them off anyway?

I have a few ideas on how to mod the little Aygo as Tracey likes it to be a bit different to the usual. Me I'm the one that thinks up things for her. I get to tinker and she's happy bunny = lots of browny points :D

I may also be able to sort out a group buy for another part of the interior that badly needs changed as the original is just too naff - poss more to follow.

Yup, as that grey speckly finish on them is just so naff and cheap looking. I reckon they would look much better with a silver finish similar to the CD player.

Also what colour does the dash light up ? Does the white heater part light up the same colour?

OK, OK SMW, It's the gear gaitor. That cheapo vinyl rubbish is simply horrible. There is a company that makes good looking ones on eBay in nice soft leather with double stitching.

They are NOT universal and so will be designed to fit properly. They can do most colours and combinations and would charge £12.99 which is much less than the £30 or so you would normally pay for a Richbrook or Momo one. All they need is someone to send them their original as a template and I'm pretty sure they will reduce the price if we have 10 or so orders.

So anyone up for it ????
