Shiney Shiney !

I washed and polished the Yaris today.

!st i washed it with Jof's car wash then i used the Meguiars quick detailer with the clay bar to take all the bits off the paint, then i washed it again, then i used Autoglym super resin polish, then i finished off with Jof's Carnuba wax.

I watched that episode of fifth gear, he does a !Removed! good job, but I nearly fainted when he said it could cost anything up to £5000.

That would be a mint job tho, get to wash all these really ace super cars, like a Maserati MC12, which is what he washed on that episode.

Although it's expensive it all down to the products he uses. I had to laugh when he applied the wax by hand though ;) !

But yeah a nice job if you can get it

Yeh, when he massaged it into the paint work in an up-down motion? lol. That was pretty funny, lol. I think he said the pot of wax costed like £6000 or something stupid like that.

I did our Yarises yesterday and used a Meguiars product for the first time. A blast with the hose, a shampoo then Meguiars "Clean & Wax". It's great stuff - wipe on with a foam pad then wipe off with a microfibre cloth and it gives amazing shine. I was really impressed with it, apart from how I can now see just how scratched and scraped my paintwork is :(

very nice shine indeed, mine needs a good clean at the moment, been too busy as of late with deadlines but hope to get some more free time after work is due this week
