Estima Stereo Amplifier Location?

Recommended Posts

Hi from a new member,

I'm changing the stereo on K-reg Estima as the old one appeared to be bust (nothing coming out of 2 speakers). Having got the new stereo, I find that the old one connected using an external-amplifier (the single-connector-block option) and it's the amplifier that's jiggered.

Where on earth IS the amplifier? I've seen comments about Previa's hiding them in the passenger footwell, but all I've found is the fusebox.

Any help appreciated.

I have exactly the same question i have also looked in the passenger footwell.at this moment i have a stereo that has a amp plug in the back of the unit and wired to the original multi plug instead of wiring the Speakers directly but it's not a perfect set up.I would still love to hook it up properly.

I think its under the drivers seat inspection hatch

I have found it it's under the drivers seat near the drivers door side. I took it apart to expose it looked at all the wires on it then set about tracing the wires to the Speakers and on a cold and windy day i gave up for a while because i was pulling too many bits off the interior of the car.

so if anyone does itentify which wire does what then it would be much appreciated.
