I am looking to import a Hiace custom from Japan but I am not sure at the kind of price I should be paying as I cant find that many knocking around and they dont really appear on importers websites. Looking for something along the lines of:

What sort of price should I be paying for a 2.8 diesel auto with aircon and modified etc in Japan?

Thanks for the help

im selling mine if your serious about buying one..i've a 2.8 super custom with new engine fitted by API still in warranty, i got it a couple of years ago for a surf trip to Morocco but the head went in the south of France

2,200 and its yours ( i just want what i spent on the engine )

it hasn't got all the spoilers and kit but you can buy them and put them on your self..much cheaper as well

once it's been tarted up would probably cost about 10k or more

Hello!

We just bought a white one (although the black one looks much cooler) for £3,500. It has done 50,000 miles and is a 2.8l Diesel (manual). It seems that we got a bit of a bargain, though. There was an automatic one in Exeter recently (could still be there - it was in the Autotrader) for £5,500. There was a manual for £5000 and there was recently a manual one in Manchester that I saw on E-bay with a reserve for £4000. There was a 1996 one in Plymouth, in excellent condition for £10,000, but it did come with a cool sound system.

They are extremely cool and really well modified. I reckon they're going to take off pretty soon!

Good luck and have fun!

Denise.
