Hi

I would be greatful if anyone could help me with a little problem.

this is not my comp, but on startup a PC running XP home is automatically opening Internet Explorer, which we don't want to happen.

So how do i stop this, done it before but can't remember.

Whenever I want to stop something loading automatically I click start, run, type "msconfig", click ok then click the startup tab, might be worth trying that.

Defo not spyware, its source feeding it is a ligit program which was installed by choice.

When Windows is open go to Start>All Programs>Startup. Does it say empty?

try clicking on the start menu, click on run & type in Regedit

Be VERY carefull in here.
