ok well I've done a few of these threads recently but its not every day you've got a mini meet whenever you go home for the weekend :D

ok well my mums is nearly finished :D just awaiting some volks to arrive, so I thought it would be a perfect time to get peoples oppinions for her and see what you all think.

As said yesterday - the paintwork looks stunning! Not an orange person myself, *but* looks like a really top-notch job!! Remind me to get the details from you sometime for when Murray needs some work done ;)

I'd like to see the three MR2s together! Get yours in the pics Dan hehe

I actually really like it.... there was an orange Mk1 at Brunters which totally caught my eye (that was the plan though I guess! ) and I think the colour is great on the '2 - and I normally dislike orange cars and absolutely begged Rich to not get the ST in Orange (even though there was no chance he would!)

That would be Jo's Tango MK1 (Garrick's better half) ;) Last interior pics I saw, even the dog had colour-coded harnesses - it's an Orange lover's heaven :D

That's great. I used to paint older cars in Signal Orange, actually a ford escort MK1 colour and it was magnificent. I think it looks great on the car, would love to see the actual colour.

Stunning

yeh we got the car painter at "Armstrongs" in Cricklde near Swindon. Family run business, they were really enthusiastic about the job. I cant find their details right now, sorry. :( In the pics the colour looks quite flat but in person it is extremely vibrant and bright lol.

ohh and if u were wonderin the deep shine is cause of the 3 coats of laquer, we did toy with the idea of metal flakes but no, the colour looks alot like Lotus Chrome Orange just its not a pearlescent. Easier for touchups just in case. ;)

If you'd said orange mr2 I'd have groaned ... but that looks ace - really nice.

As for parents - my idiot father sold an original GT40 when I was born!
