Ok, I asked a few at Brunters, my girlfriend, my workmate what they'd think of a carbon fibre bonnet on my Gen7 thunder grey Celica... They said it would look bad :(

I happen to think it looks rather nice, especially with those bonnet wings. What does anyone else think, will I buy one and look like a tit or is it ok after all?

Personally i think it'll look good :wheelchair: ! Carbon fibre looks the dogs danglies on most cars ( depending on colour ) but yours will look good if you have some decent alloys etc etc

Either would look good with the thunder grey and some anthracite or black wheels... IMHO. ;)

Ah but OTT is ok! I want people to see my Gen7! I was the only Gen7 at brunters, how ridiculas .

Also, next week I am getting this wonderful mod:

That does look nice right, especially when I get CF hood and CF eyebrows and black wheels and TTE springs....

Get a decent photo of your car up and ask someone in General if they`ll be kind enough to photoshop each one onto your car. Someone will oblige i`m sure. It`ll give you a much better idea with regard to colour etc.

If you're intending on getting one get an OEM style CF hood. And beware, different CF bits from different manufacturers can have varying styles of weave so if you get the CF ligt covers and bonnet from different companies, be warned they may look cack afterwards

Not a fan of CF *really* .. I think you can get away with it on a black car, as it looks black.

If I had another colour car, I'd get it sprayed .. CF bonnets on stock non black/dark cars to me look a bit "saxo with painted bonnet". If you get one, get a GT300 kit for it, and then with the arches, spoiler and cannards it will be passable.

As for the fuel filler cap? Why?

All IMHO ..

I think you're all right about the fuel cap thinking about it, though it is especially made for Celica as it's TRD. Oh and thank you all for the responces, never thought I'd get so many!

Jamie, yep I got the exhaust fitted and it's amazing, I love it :D.
