Front Knocking Banging Noise

HI EVERYONE

Every now and then I get a knocking sound drivers side front.

I was in London the other week and hit a rather large pot hole in the road and got a loud bang from around the area of my drivers side front wheel.

Ive looked to see what it could be and can not see any damage ...now I keep getting this knocking sound now and again some times longer that others.

any one can shed some light as I'm lost on what to look at

Could be the shock mounting that has broken.

i had the same probs not long ago checked everywhere.then a nice man in agarage put it up on a ramp and found the front anti roll bar mounts loose.you cant see these by lying underneath.he tightened them up cost of a drink £10= no more banging from under.
