hey just dropped my ST185 gt4 on some super low springs and installed a boost controller im real happy with her except with the boost contoller.

the bc was professionally installed but when i turned the boost up the fuel cut omes on and so does the engine light. after this happened a few times i gave up and turned the boost right down to factory boost, thing is the fuel cut still activates at about standard 8psi.iv heard i might have to reset the ecu and then get a fcd but how exactly do you reset the ecu i pulled the 15A efi fuse with no change and tried to pull out the main efi fuse but cant get it out is there a trick to this? and could ther be something else wrong.I know you will be able to help(gtforbes) me thanx

the engine light will be coming on because you have hit fuel cut, usually it will go into limp mode till you switch off the ignition and switch it back on again.

well pulling the EFI fuse should reset the ECU. have you tried testing for stored fault codes? di this before pulling the fuse again and after an 'event' has happened

are you sure that the boost isn't spiking and hitting the fuel cut? could be the wrong settings if it's electrical

if your wanting to go above the standard boost levels your best getting a FCD, cheapest off of e-bay. and don't illiminate your fuel cut completely, it is there for a reason.

but i'm not using one, i'm being very bad on my engine and have disconnected the boost sensor and plugged it with a screw. but all this is being changed, still working on my e-manage map to elliminate fuel cut and get the fueling right. (fitting more toys every day now it seems, christmas everyday :D )
