Projector Head Lights Gen6

Ok after a discussion i wanna know about these projector headlights for the Gen 6

Did celicas ever come with them standard?

If so what year ?

There quite expensive from Fensport but really make the car look more " modern " - i dont think the difference in looks or perfromance justifys buying them but for a show car or someone with more money than sense go for it !!!! , Any info you have please ?

Thats the good thing about the Gen 4 & 5 You can hide the crappy headlights away.

They do look good but I have never seen them In the flesh, so cant say if they actually make the car look any better. Pointless changing the fronts if you can only have standard or jdms rears as both look dated IMHO!

Theres is a bit actually , i guess they reflect the light better ? but my mates does seem to light up the road a bit better ! then again maybe thats jus his new bulbs.... hard to tell ! he swears there better but i think hes trying to justify the £400odd quid

If you take the amber out the JDMs they look good !

You cant see any pictures as I dont have any lol, plus its been removed now due to being an experiment and not a permenant mod. When I said I was doing it Adam made a comment about why bother, just buy a GT4, and to be honest it proved very wise advice! However as Im looking to get a new car, and with the NSX idea out of the window, Im considering a Gen7. The only problem is that my mate has now gone for a GT4 which he will gassing and so might wait for that and see what I prefer! Having been out in it this weekend and up to Wales I will say there very quick, (still think my GTE would have a go) but want to see what running costs/reliablity are like so may wait until summer before choosing what to go with!

By the way I have now got a camera so any developements will be posted!

If they are the proper HID's .. they are awesome, lightup the road like no £5 "super bright" buld can.

I think it was an option on the last-of-the-line ST202/205's .. Almost bought a 205 with them a few years back.

I have spoken to gt4oc members who have said that these lights perform LOADS better than the standard ones.

I have to admit i was saying the other day that they dont look much different and are not worth the money... but then by coincidence i met someone on the same day with these lights.... and they look awesome in real life, big difference! They way they transform the front of the car... and the way they look when they light up... Its made me want some :( you MUST see in person to understand how nice they are.

i been spending quite a bit on performance parts recently B) ... so they will have to wait

It's mad that Calibras had them as standard! They do give that more modern look to the front and probably make a big difference to the appearance. I dont know what you guys mean about the lights as they dont seem that bad, but then again I do mainly A-road and motorway driving so I guess I would not notice until I go on the twisties!
