just managing to tick over but wen driven its like spluttering or sumat V poor hesitation 2 accelarate,

& at cold start used 2 idle at 1500 now it barley does 1000, I personaly think mayB runnin on two cylinders as compression was low wen tuned~

any ideas wht problem is? (apart frm me redlining her)

and whts opinion on swapping for 2.0 turb (or alternate swap apart for 4AGZE/20 VALVE) rather thn reconditioning engine???

T90910-02121- head bolts-exhaust x5 £3.27 each

list can go on...

Id be gettin it checked out... might be a costly mistake..

from what i can tell..

1. Your keyboard has no Vowels - you should take it back to the shop and complain.

2. Your an idiot, redlining a cold engine is stupid beyond words.

3. You dont deserve to have a car, you should give it away immediatly and buy a pushbike - a girls one...

Sorry...thought this was toyotas owners club forum, not a mothers meeting. Anyway seems like some ppl hav a lot, sorry u may not understand that some P. E. O. P. L. E have plenty of time at hand to critisize and not advise, (wish I had that attitude). A minority of people say txt typing is for people who failed key stage 1, but if you look and think logically, its obvious its the 1s who dn't understand tht need to re-sit their key stage 1.

Sorry, started to read that, and the first dozen or so words made sense. It all went down hill from there, so I stopped reading, and had to re-read it one word at a time.

You'll find a LOT of people on this forum are of the same attitude. If YOU havent gone to the effort of typing it in a manner which I can read easy, why should I go to the effort of trying to help?

The occasional abbreviation ('ppl' instead of 'people' in your example), or the occasional typo I can put up with. But constant missing letters and inserting numbers, that's when I give up.

I don't even know what "key stage one" is, but with 20 years using computers, an A-Level and a Degree in IT based subjects, I somehow doubt I need to relearn how to type ;)

Anyhow, hope your car is okay

I am almost certain text speak is against terms of conditions of the forum.

If I had seen this thread earlier it would have been deleted. Since a Supermod (Bibbs) is dealing with this I'll leave the decision to him.

its weird because thrs no leaking/losing of fluids or miture of oil or water, so im puzzled as to how it can be head gasket, a few ppl have had a look and say the engine very clean taken frm an MR2 AW11 77000miles at time bought, only previous leak was from water pump which was fixed.

The head gasket could be blown between two of the cylinders.... hence the reason for lack of power.....

A compression test should confirm if this is the case.

I'm another of the "if you can't be ubikd to type correctly I can't be ubikd to help out" brigade

I'm also not quite aware of the swearing rules on this site either :)
