daughter just purchased her first toyota

is it normal for the engine to make a loud whinning/whirling noise when started from cold

sound a bit like a loud turbo noise ..... stops when car moves off drive

yer probably it should just happen on a cold start, when the engine warms up it should stop.

if it doesn't take it to toyota they will tell u staright away
