Ben, I think its aimed at those who dont have the figure of a heroin addict, but are somewhat stationary expect for the movement of putting fried chicken in their mouths...

as a way of encoraging them away from star trek re-runs and discovering the outside isnt that scary, and they can survive to lose a couple of calories..

Isn't it spelt differently? There is no way in hell I'm doing a search to check though.

However, it does come from the Latin word;

pes pedis = foot

pedes : going on foot, walking / foot-soldier, infantryman

Yeah, Gathered ..

But

Pediatrician - Kiddie doctor ..

Chiropodist - Foot doctor ..

Therefore

Pedometer - Kiddie counter

Chirometer - Foot counter

Slow start to the day for you dude :lol:

Yeah, got up late .. :(

A bit like that Lynx advert with the "bird" counters, but with Mr Glitter and Mr Jackson in a lift instead?

It'll be to do with a greek or Latin origin. In Greek 'Ποδι' (Po-Thee) means foot/leg so i woul imagine its originated from that

Dunno the latin word :lol:
