I paid £1511 for my insurance on my SR!

Being 20 with 0 NCB sucks!

19 with no NCB and crash declared... in castleford..

900 quid

:!Removed!:

All mods declared?

In your own name?

Fully comp?

£500 excess?

Legal Cover?

Oh, my car is group 5 too. I think yours is group 3.

Oh, £1500 was cheap... all other companies wanted £2800!! They don't want the business with quotes like that!

Interesting yours is group 5 :o i wonder why

his is an SR, its a higher insruance group as it looks visualy sportier and more appealing to criminals apparently

1.3 is group 3, SR is group 5, Tsport is group 7.

1.3 is group 3, SR is group 5, Tsport is group 7.

Actually it depends on the model....

1.3 T3 is Group 3, 1.3 T-Spirit is Group 4, 1.3 CDX is Group 5....

I dont have a T-Sport, but mine is just under £300, 3 years no claims, fully comp...

interesting.. cos mines faster than grahams :P

only kidding fella :D

On the strip it is... no arguments there. Think it was your wheels and suspension... and less weight! (And better driving probably!)

It's group 5 because out of the factory it has wheels, spoiler and lowered a bit.

Don't all of them have wheels?

Nope, some have a hovercraft style air-cushion! That'd be cool!

Ok... alloy wheels..... picky sod!:thumbsup:

(Oh, alloys that are bigger than T-Spirtt etc) Bigger than T-Sport actually! (Width)

Like £1000 for my SR with my dad as first driver, mum as second and me as third!

Dad used 6 years NCB from my aunts car, would have been £900 but he wanted it protected?

No mods, fully comp, I think ~ £150 - £250 excess?

Thats with CIS, was the cheapest we found :-S.

(Also bearing in mind I had been driving for just 4 months when we got the insurance quote).

In Watford btw.

Oh, and that has legal cover + with estimated 8000-10000 miles a year.

this thread is indeed like spot the oldie!!

I just stuck the t sport in my own name for the first time on my own policy. So no NCB, but 3 years named driving experience (actually 4 but lost a year due to renewing it early :( )

Im 22 and live in Northern ireland.. £805 with all mods declared. I was a happy bunny!!
