I still think the 18's looked better.....but the 17's by far are easier to live with... :)

so ya dont recommend 18's for the drive then?

I'm thinking between 17 and 18" for my Rev5, how much is yours lowered?

looks really good!

Running 18's on the rear of mine (17's on the front) and it'll still light the tyres up in the dry in first and second.

I was running 17's on the rear before and I can't say I've noticed a great difference.

I think once you've gone beyond 15" anyway (maybe 16") you've changed the handling etc anyway.

Worse ..

In my MR2 ownership I've had 14", 15", 16", 17" & 18" ..

The 16" were the best for feel (Enkei lightweights), 17" for outright grip (BBS) and I think for looks 18" on the fronts and 19" on the rears .. but then I like BIG rims ..

I'd recommend the 18's for looks but for day to day use i'd say no....as the roads round my way are just awful.....on the motorway the 18's are fine and so is the handling (but not as good as the stock wheels).......the 17's make the roads easier to live with.....imperfections be it small potholes patched up sections of the tarmac...what ever........in the end of the day it's what you can put up with.

The car is lowered 40mm on tein s-tech springs........would recommend these springs to anyone, although would like to

try eibachs some day....anyway thanks for your and everybody else's supportive comments.......
