Aye, but they are merging with telewest so job cuts are inevitable (still agree that there customer support is rubbish though!)

They're cutting loads of jobs where I work.. I've escaped this time, but only a matter of time before I get booted out too! :ffs: Still, a good excuse to start looking for something a bit better!

It's axe swinging season unfortunately. Most companies have completed their financial year now and have budgets adjusted accordingly. If it's not outright redundancies, it's 'relocations' instead.

NTL have never been hot on customer service, so I can't imagine them being any better with 6000 less staff..... we get our internet from them, and although I have to admit, its not bad, they're a nightmare on the phone....worse than BT....

Its always sad when large companies announce job losses though, makes you realise that none of us are safe....
