Hi,first of all i apologise as i know these posts get annoying,but im thinking of rejoining the old toyota club as im thinking of a GT4 ,firstly how much would you estimate for a nice one,i seem to guess around 6.5k? and also what kind of car are they? will i have many problems? what problems should i look out for?

im looking to get the JDM Celica GT4,what would be the first port-of call with the tunning? an what are they like in a stock condition?

There are 3 GT4's ..

165 (gen4) 185 (gen5) and 205 (gen6)

They seem to be going as low as £3000 for an import now, keep you eyes open for a WRX (limited edition - homologation car).

ST205's as stock, they are gread cars .. 255+bhp and a load rarer than a scooby. Tweaked, 320bhp is easy(ish) and damn rapid.

Yep, the WRC cars are very very cool. If i was going to buy another st205 it would be a WRC

That'll be at auction .. you would then need to Register and ESVA/MOT the car yourself ..

Hi again guys,just sold my car,so im serious now,but the problem is finding one...cant find any near me? an dont know if i can justify a 240mile journey for one? :S

what are they like in comparision to an sti impreza? performance / handling / reliability etc??

I've just bought an import ST205 2 weeks ago, awesome cars, defo recommend it

As for performance, AFAIK the scooby has the pull in 1st, but then 2nd and 3rd the GT4 pulls back on them ;)

Handling, they grip like hell! power distribution is really nice, and reliability, if you look after the engine, ie oil changes, etc, then the 3SGTE is pretty bullet proof

There was a guy selling his for £3500 i think , minter - member of the gt4 site ! Ask Adamgt about it (he showed me it) , looked like a nice car .
