Decided that the rear arches on the widebody left too much of a gap, So rather than pay someone to make a set of wheels with an 05 offset  i opted for a set of H&R hubcentric wheel spacers. Quality kit.

They make a huge difference to the looks of the car now. Looks much more balanced. And apparently do help a bit with the handling. (We`ll see  ) Anyway pics.

The spacers. And a shot from the front

Spot the difference.

Also managed to get all the gauges and sensors hooked up.

Work in progress. - - - - - - - - The flight deck. - information overload.

Absolutely no idea whatsoever  A half educated guess would be around 240 @ 0.9 BAR. Thats erring on the side of pessimistic. It`s overfueling quite dramatically so for the time being i shall be doing thetried and trusted AFM modification to try and lean it out a bit.

Started collecting goodies for next winters mods. Metal HG, 550cc injectors. 255 L/PH wallbro pump, Uprated FPR and a larger FMIC. Chuck in an e-manage and hopefully it`ll be around 300 +/- :D That`ll give me a power to weight ratio of @ 240 BHP/Ton That`ll do me. :D

Not sure what the difference in the throttle bodies is between the 205 and 185. Basically i had to fit mine into the intake pipe before the throttle body. Sender was too big for the throttle body.

Here`s how i did mine.

Drill a 10mm hole in intake pipe.

I utilised an old silicon T piece i had lying around to fit the sender into. Slide it over the pipe and secure with jubilee clips

The sender probe just exits into the airflow

Refit to car and route wiring through the bulkhead.

Connect it all up and Bob`s your uncle.

And this is where it lives. Put some heat wrap around it just to avoid some heat soak.

Just for info. I ran it @ 3000RPM for about 5 minutes fully warmed up and the intake temp was 16.3°C Ambient temp was 24°C So it works. Be interesting to see what it`s like on the road at full chat. :)

I fitted one to my MR2. Fitted it on the pipe between the intercooler and the manifold, piece of cake really.

Pretty sure it's the sensor on the left

When's it actually going to be on the road  ??

Road........ You think i`m going to take it on the road after all this??????

I`m just waiting for a remote oil presure line thingy and a Battery tray and it`ll be off for the MOT....... Followed no doubt by copious amounts of tinkering n stuff. :D

Forgive my lack of knowledge but those spacers - i could get some and bring my alloys out more in line with the arches ? I think it would look better than having them sit inside so much.....

Yes. Thats the idea. I only fitted them to the rears, the H&R hubcentric bolt on ones are tried and tested by a lot of the gt4oc lads and evidently do the job nicely. It's either that or get someone to make you a pair of alloys with ET05 for the rears!

Adding the 50mm to the rear put's the road car back to the spec of the WRC car, and it does improve handling, makes things more balanced, guess this should be the case as it was designed as a rally car with the greater rear track.

And in general they're not ideal, but hub-centric ones specific to the car are the only ones to use. I wouldn't put any on the front though, not that it needs them.

Having said all that. The gen 6 doesn`t suffer the gap problem at the rear quite so badly as the gen 5. The difference between front and rear track on the gen 5 is 35mm the gen 6 is 20mm. I`d be inclined to ask around on the celica club forums to see what other gen 6 owners think.

I got mine from srbpower
