Rav Door Protectors

Hi

A friend's just bought a roughly used, maybe abused, rav, 2001.

The door protectors, or whatever they are precisely called (plastic pads on all four doors, contrasting colour to the Rav's own colour), are peeling off from one side.

He wants to know how he can fix them back on cheaply.

I'm sure it aint expensive, and that it aint no rocket science, then again, everything is rocket science to me.

Is it a common problem?

Should I expect it on my Rav?

How can it be repaired?

help required.

A good quality double sided tape, as used in the motor trade should do the job.
