T Sport Tyres

I have the Bridgestone Potenza’s on my YTS 185/55/15 on all four corners.

If and when they need replacing I was thinking of getting 195/55/15 all round.

Is there any benefit from having the wider tyre and will it affect the speedo and would they fit the YTS alloys?

:help:

What size does the SR have as standard?

I think the SR has 195s.

Surely, if the diameter remains the same, the speedo should be fine.

I think you need 195/50/15 they are considerably cheaper than standard T Sport tyres.

They should show a little better grip as there is more tyre in contact with the road rather than the 185's, and I think the Rolling Radius is virtually the same as standard so it should not affect the speedo.

I still use the 185s on the standard rims - my local place does them for a 50 a corner fitted.

I use 195,45R16s on my multispokes and I cant see that the grip etc is that different. (BTW local place is 45 a corner for the 16s)

I think that rather than go for the bigger tyre mate you'd be better off going for Toyos. They're quieter, much grippier in the wet and dry and last at least as long.

195/50/15's go for toyo T1 R's off mytyres.co.uk about £30 each, and you will realise how rubbish the potenza's really are
